«Regarding Th2 cytokines, there were no significant changes in IL-4 (Fig. 2E, P = 0.2 in ANOVA). However, IL-10 (Fig. 2F) decreased in mice submitted to high-pressure ventilation (lung injury) (P < 0.05 in ANOVA, P = 0.001 in post hoc test compared with baseline). This decrease was also significant in the repair phase (P = 0.001) and after prolonged low-pressure ventilation (P = 0.008).»
